AB Surf Shop is a family owned and operated business. It is the oldest surf shop in North Carolina and that brings great pride to the family. Started by Tommy Morrow when he was just 15 years old, the shop has grown from a simple surf shop selling surfboards, to a complete surf shop haven and boutique. The Atlantic Beach Surf Shop opened its doors in 1964, stoked to share their love of surfing and the ocean with beachgoers and Crystal Coast locals alike. Those were the days of ten surfers in the water, multiple piers to choose from and the beginning of East Coast surfing.
